A man came to Thailand, entrusted by a promise he had made to his best friend, not long dead. The promise was to encompass all dogs he could manage and bring them to see a better life in both his name and his friend’s. His family gave them their house in Hua Hin, along with Bella, the first of what was to be many saved dogs. Bella had been his for a while now and followed the man everywhere.

He gathered his followers, the only family he had as a bachelor; his grandchildren. This community he forged with his own hands gave him hope when all things threatened to tear him down, allowing his cause as must strength as they could give to it. Many dogs came to love this man and after two young lives were taken to their resting place with his gentle words, three pups joined his side; Pearl, Budda and Smaris.

In the Muai Thai ring he fought for his own glory, earning him great respect in his area. His grandchildren had given him two names before now; The Wizard and The Goldfish. Now he was Mạngkr, the Dragon. The honourable dragon cared for all his children and his animals, always smiling and always proud.

But one day, a greater cause called the dragon forward. He took his gaze skyward and Budda met his gaze. Drawing himself from those he knew he went up and took his place beside the one he worshiped in Nirvana, only to look back down at his grandchildren and his dogs. They mourned for their leader and their friend, honouring his name with every tear that they shed. He smiled his smile and called back down to them; telling they not to cry. Telling them to remember him for all the happy times that were brought forth from the times that they all shared with each other, both those that followed and those that served by his side.

I am one of those that stood by him since the summer that passed before. I’ve helped to protect his honour and now we proclaim it across all our nations. Be at peace now, Morfar. Your barnbarns will never forget.
I come home to hear about the death of a man i knew as Morfar. I respected him greatly in the time that I followed him and can hardly stop crying from the fact that i'll never see his smiling face in person...Rest In Peace Morfar. You are with Budda now.
